David Perlman

I find it very difficult to describe my photography because it is so impulsive.  Sometimes I see something whose pixels simply beg to be captured and I point my camera at it.  In a few instances, that’s enough and I’m happy with the result.  Most often, however, the final image doesn’t materialize until I’ve messed with it in my computer and stumbled, often by accident, on a result that I want to show to people.  I combine pictures, distort them, and assemble multiple images into a single whole and the fun is to achieve a result that both pleases and surprises me.  That’s why I do this!
